DEERSKIN SLIPPERS IN A WEEKEND
This course is designed for people with some knowledge of sewing. Preferably with some knowledge of bead work or needlepoint. This course will cover pattern making to a finished pair of deerskin slippers. We will be discussing the basic principles of slipper making and a little bit about the many individual styles there are. This course is a 12 hour course and will be running Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This course will be held at White Creek Leather Crafts, Bowden, AB $90 + GST.
All supplies are available through us or if you do have your own deerskin and other supplies please bring them. You will need to bring a sharp pair of scissors as well as a thimble. Saturday you will need to bring a bagged lunch. Sunday we can go to Red Lodge Guest Ranch for brunch if all the students agree.
